Thyme
Quiet, Potent, and Purposely Slow-Grown
Thyme is one of our most concentrated herbs, defined by its earthy aroma and high thymol content. Its compact growth and dense leaves reflect its slow maturation in the Aberdare climate. Subtle yet powerful, it remains one of nature’s most reliable culinary and wellness herbs.
Growing Conditions
Our thyme grows low and steady under consistent sunlight and mineral-rich soil. This slow growth process allows oils to develop fully, increasing both aroma and medicinal value. The clean mountain water enhances purity and flavour concentration.
Quality & Handling
We harvest thyme at its most aromatic stage, handling it gently to prevent bruising and oil loss. Air-drying in controlled shade ensures the leaves retain 70–80% of their natural oils. This meticulous process preserves colour, scent, and potency long after harvest.
